This was our first lesson looking at Dissocia as a class. We had got our casting on Tuesday and I am playing Passenger 2/Goat/Inhibitions/Vince. I am really happy with these roles as I think they will be a good challenge.
We talked about the times in our lives when we would be a Follower, Negotiator and a Leader. I said that I was a follower at work, a negotiator at college and a leader with some of my friends. We then had to choose our character from act 2, my character is Vince. We had to say wether we think our character is a follower, negotiator or leader. I said I think Vince is a leader because of the way he is a controlling figure in Lisa's life. I think this is most prominent when he talks about how he nags Lisa to take the pills. *INSERT PICTURE OF SCRIPT*
We then got into the pairs for the person we are double cast with, and then worked out how there is a link between our character in the second act, and our characters in the first. Me and Luke said that we think Vince could be a violent character and this is reflected in Passenger 2, when he talks about violence. He also repeats 'I'm breaking up' which I think emphasises the fact that Vince and Lisa talk about splitting up at the end. When he says
